Watch Part 2: youtube removed it… Yukimura Chizuru has come to Kyoto looking for her father, a doctor who has gone missing. While there, she witnesses a fight between an oni and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody, the Shinsengumi debate on what to do with Chizuru when they discover that she is the daughter of the doctor they are also looking for. Summary from: www.minitokyo.net Hakuouki for PS2 was first released in 2008. The PSP version soon followed in 2009. The latest version is the DS version, which was just released in January this year. An anime based on this otome (dating sim) game was announced last year in 2009. @BMPlovesFF7 Well what do you want to know about the anime? There’s so far only 5 eps (though 5 isn’t subbed yet, but it should come in the next few days). A friend who played the games told me. There’s a 2 chapter manga called Hakuouki Junrenka, you can read that on Manga fox. The anime eps are floating around youtube…
Yep they all have a bottle of Ochimizu…and somewhere along the storyline, they use it.

@BMPlovesFF7 If you don’t mind being spoiled-ish, the silver hair is due to them drinking this medicine called Ochimizu , which temporarily turns them into a demon. I hope this answers your question ^_^

dating sims games are not exactly popular in the U.S. so, there’s no chance for it to be released in English. There are a lot of other japanese games that I like and were never released in English, like Fate/stay night, one of my favorite anime and the game is quite popular, too.
because if dating sims games are released in English, it won’t sell much. not to mention, they’ll be hard to find in your local video game store like GameStop.
plus, there are hardly any PS2 games released these days.

Umm, i’m kinda confused. It’s the same characters, but they have two different designs for the PS2 and DS? Like the characters have ones when they are in kimonos and times when they are in military-type uniforms. XP Help?
