Can I mod my xbox 360 to play backup games without opening it?

I want to mod my 360 to play backup games but don’t want to open it. Is there any way I can buy a modded dvd drive or something to attach externally to my xbox?

modding your xbox is dangerous. it voids your warranty and is extremely difficult to do. just stick with the standard 360.
