Classic Game Room HD – FINAL FIGHT: DOUBLE IMPACT review

I never played Final Fight until Capcom ported this to PS2 via the Capcom Classic Collection Volume 1. I do remember playing Final Fight 2 or 3 on SNES though. I”ll probably get the PS3 version next month to show my support to Capcom.

Sega had Streets of Rage to go against Capcom for making Final Fight exclusive to Nintendo’s SNES system though Sega did get Final Fight CD on Sega CD. Alot of the characters in Streets of Rage look similar to Final Fight.

you should do a review of Final Fight CD for Sega CD. I own it and really like it.

Emulation ruins these releases. They make them less special. Since people have been using emulators for 15 years now.

Oh THAT Jessica. I like how Guy forgot he had a friend named Jessica, and that he would beat up 1000 guys to save someone he barely even knew.

The original Final Fight still my favourite, even to this day, the gameplay is solid, especially with two player.

for me Final fight 3 was the best in the series, even tho this is on the ps3 i rather play Final fight 3 on the Wii.

Holy shit- the cabinet frame and post-processing effects are awesome… Takes me back to the arcades!

This is one of the best games of all time.

Capcom know how to make some good games. I have not seen a bad series of games from them. Just purchased Capcom Classics Vol 1 for the PS2. This game is in that collection. I am going to get this off the PSN for sure. Never played Final Fight or Magic Sword.

You mentioned how all the side-scolling beat-em-ups of the late 90’s had someone getting captured by a gang. The need one where this guy in a suit is just walking home and random enemies attack him for no reason. Have ninjas, aliens, zombies, velociraptures and such as you make an attempt to reach your apartment.
