Do I have to install the Sims 3 first before installing the The Sims 3 High-End Loft Stuff Pc game?

Or I just can buy the Sims 3 highEnd loft stuff Pc game and install it directly in my computer? I am planning to buy The sims 3. And our memory is limited. But I still want some new and exciting features included aside from the sims 3.

You have to install Sims 3 before you can install High End Loft Stuff. High End just add new items to the Sims 3.
