did anybody ever get to the heli at the end?

Funny thing, if you take the jetpack and fly over to the casino roof, you can already get in there before this mission and walk all the way down to the vault, without anybody noticing you.

Seriously, it’s impossible to parachute onto that roof, also, it’s completely unnecessary. It’s much easier landing on the ground and taking a car back to the air strip. Why get on a roof, risk getting shot, take a helicopter and use its awful controls to fly back when you can easily escape on ground?

the place where the generators are is the location of blue hell in the pc vers… dunno if its the same for ps2

Yeah, it’s somewhat tricky. You have to run straight forward off the roof (DON’T jump) and instantly pull back to slow your descent once the ‘chute opens.
