How can you extract sounds files from a pc game?
Hello guys i was wondering how anyone could extract sound files from a pc game like swat 3 for instance….Or even any kind of game at all. Does anyone know any software in mind. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Then convert the sound to mp3.
Thanks.
amiT jaiN thats not the answer i wanted. There is no sound or wav folder in the game i am talking about. Not all games have sound folders for you to easily access. Some sound are hidden in the game and will require a special software to extract them

This actually depends on the game’s engine, and there are so many and each has it’s own sound extracting utilities, mostly developed by fans and users, so there’s no such thing like a “universal audio extractor” that can be applied to all computer games.
I, myself, was able to extract music tracks from “Unreal”, “Unreal Tournament”, “No One Lives Forever” and a couple more with tiny, special utilities downloaded from fans’ forums, but couldn’t do this to many others so I used a sound recorder, which is a type of software used to capture any audio stream coming out of your PC’s sound card, and I gained good results.
Here’s one that’s free:

Sure hope this helps.
