How do I run a full screen pc game in a smaller window in order to allow for internet browsing etc?

I want to play a pc game but also want to use the internet occassionally now and again. How do I run a full screen game in a smaller window to allow me to do other things too?

A lot of games do not support this. Whats the specific game you want to run in a window? Usually if you do a google search for “ ‘windowed mode’” you’ll get some hits usually. Some games have an option in the visual settings that lets you enable windowed mode, whereas others require you having to pass in a command line argument when you start the program ( wow.exe -window ).
