Does the description really have to ask if SSDs are faster? Duh.

So let me get this straight I can save 2? to 3 minutes But Lose two to three Hundreds dollars? A Good SSD is the cost of a PS3. WTF is the Point. In 1 year SSD’s will be $99.00

I forgot to mention that SSD’s are known to be much faster than Hard Drives but are exponentially more expensive.

“Solid State Drive”

Most hard drives use a spinning magnetic disc but an SSD uses a solid memory card.

The solid state drive test for Metal gear Solid 4 is obsolete. The install is hindered by the BD’s read speed.

I think it is about time to lower the SSD price at least 40% down. And I mean it.

Are these people stupid? SSD drives excel mostly in READING not WRITING. If you’re installing you’re WRITING to the drive. Try loading GTA 4 on both consoles, one with it installed to the SSD, and one with it installed to the HDD. There should be a MAJOR difference.

There already is a 1TB SSD, but its like 7,000 dollars or something like that
