Realms of Chaos PC Game Review – Lazy Game Reviews

By admin On April 11, 2010 Under PC Game
Modded Controllers - Evil Controllers

Nothing says early 90’s like the platform game. But they weren’t limited to consoles, oh no. Computers had Jill of the Jungle, Jazz Jackrabbit and of course, Realms of Chaos. This bloody fantasy side-scroller is remembered quite fondly in many an Apogee fans’ mind, and for good reason. It rocks. Realms of Chaos for DOS pcs

@Bakemon13 I have not, but got interested recently when looking for older Naughty Dog games after playing Uncharted and Way of the Warrior for the first time lately

The Sims Neighbourhood Theme 2/3.

But enough with the smartassing.

Yet, neat review again! Apparently you only either review good older games or bad newer games ;)

Wow, I wasn’t expecting a new review that fast, Kudos to you (I thought your video this week was the 386 video ;) ).
Good review, I think I’m gonna give this game a go. I love the original Castlevania on the NES, and this one looks kinda like it, I don’t know why, but it somehow reminds me of it… ^^

Love that game, and your witty reviews too :)

You said it “Evil Adlib music and fantasy artwork”, I was sold, haha.

This game is made of awesome, and that scream at the beginning still makes me chuckle.
Great review.

@phreakindee Indeed it is, it does have a storyline to it, but there are also a bunch of events that only appears when you go to certain locations.
The part i remember best is the energy-management system, very complex for such a small game.

Try it, if not for anything else, but the nostalgia :)

@nesnahprotsdam I have, it’s been many years thought. That’s a sort of free-roaming top-down space shooter by Epic from what I remember. Never tried it too much, may have to give it another go

Ever tried the game named Solar Winds? One of the few games that is still crystal clear in my mind.
