@WormClark Yeah. Because hiding in a box is a stealth element. When hiding in a box, they don’t see you. And since they don’t see you it’s clearly stealth.

@ezcapftw I forgot to tell something more. I can give you many reasons why MGS is better than SC if you want. As a game and as everything. I will give answers not as a fan but I will give objective reasons. This doesn’t mean that I hate SC and I consider it as a crappy or stupid game.

@ezcapftw And yes. Splinter cell is more stealthy than MGS only because it works differently. It has different mechanics. The major factor is that almost the whole game is covered in dark. But the real challenge in stealth is in the daylight. That’s so great about MGS. It’s an action-adventure game. Not just adventure. That’s why splinter cell becomes boring fast. It has no action. MGS had always stealth and action together. That’s why it’s better than splinter cell. One reason is the one above.

@ezcapftw MGS isn’t a stealth game? What’s this? NEW? As far as I’m concerned MGS was the one that discovered the stealth genre and not splinter cell. Solid Snake marked in history as a legend and not Sam Fisher. I agree though. If you become an expert then yes. The game isn’t anymore stealthy. Have you ever tried the tanker chapter in european extreme? Have you ever played MGS4 in the last difficulty level. Probably not.

first off…i love both game franchises, but my decision goes to splinter cell for stealth genres, mainly because MGS ISNT A STEALTH GAME…you cant go 15 minutes in those games without having to go loud and kill everyone…i beat conviction killing only about 20-30 people ( because you have to), and double agent killing no one (for 100% stealth bonus in each level).

Clothes that changes color doesn’t mean he uses the environment better nor does hiding in a box. The former is basically cheating and the latter is a cheap gag. Not to mention the triangles on the radar basically hand it to you.

All Sam Fisher has to run on is how much light he’s in and how much sound he’s making.

and one last thing from me the soldiers in mgs4 have nano machines in them that regulates stress level supresses pain and basically makes that they have no emotions what so ever thus making them basically the ultimate sodiers and snake kills them on a daily bassis its like fighting an army of green berrets im not an expert on sam but clearly the unrealistic soldier wins
