Yesterday i just got myself a new playstation 3. I have a wrestling game for the ps2. I tried having it work on the ps3 but it didnt work. What ps2 games work on the ps3?

Most of them do. The best games are call of duty 4,grand theft auto 4 and Bioshock.

O yea, I got the same PS3 as u. It turns out that the PS3 we got is the PS3 core model, and it wont play PS2 games. It basically a 40gb PS3 with an 80gb hardrive with energy effient updates. I know it kinda cuz but there is many games on PS3 that u will forget about PS2 for a while. Get killzone, littlebigplanet, MGS4 and smackdown vs raw 2009 so u can play wrestling or UFC, these are both amazing games. UFC is Funner then smack down to me but UFC is mixed martial arts while smack down vs raw is wrestling.

I have no problems playing ps1,ps2 or ps3 on my ps3 system 160gb
you just have to make sure it will do reverse formatting

im pretty sure on the new 80gb ps3 the ps2 games dont work but they would work on the pold 80gb model sorry the following games for the ps3 are good

ps3 80gb doesn’t play ps2 games but as for games these are a mustbuy ps3 games : killzone 2 ,mg4,resident evil 5,gta iv ,infamous,littlebigplanet,co5,cod4,massive action game (it will be come out in future),god of war 3(will come out in future),Burnout:paradise,Motor storm,Resistance 1,2 ,bioshock

you don’t have a ps3 that plays ps2 games so none will work and these are some good games for ps3 you may like

Killzone 2, MGS4, GTA4, Resident Evil 5, Dead Space, inFAMOUS, Fallout 3, LittleBigPlanet, F.E.A.R. 2, BioShock, Resistance 2, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Sorry, but PS2 games don’t work on new 80GB versions of PS3.
