Ours used to do this and we sent it to the company (it cost 20 bucks ) and if you only had it a year it is still under warrenty, anyway they said it was over heating and it was a safety feature.
What is causing my Playstation II to shut off and the green light to flash?
My Playstation II shuts off as soon as you plug it in. It is not overheating, as it was off all weekend. When the light flashes, you can’t turn the machine off. You have to unplug it. The Playstation is the newer model – only one year old. Please help, I am a Play Station junkie.
