I have to say the Sega CD, because that evolved into the gaming systems we know and love today. If Sega never ventured over to the CD, there is a possibility we would be playing Halo on a cartridge, and that would not be good for anyone!
What is your favorite failed video game experiment?
By failed video game experiment I mean a piece of hardware meant to improve gaming but failed. It could be an accessory like the power glove or the 32x for sega, or it could be a console like the 3do or the CD-I. So what is your favorite failed video game experiment?
Mine is the power glove because even though it doesn’t work well it eventually evolved into the wii.
